The StoryPhones System

The StoryPhones System is the first complete MP3 digital audio system designed for use in schools for children aged up to the age of 8. This original idea of using MP3 players in Headsets together with a remote control was created by Eleanor Johnson, an Early Years teacher, with the aim of giving children a new, easy way of listening to audio resources. The StoryPhones Headset

We wanted to develop a very robust, wire free MP3 player headset which would be perfect for children to use in schools and nurseries, indoors and outside. So we designed the StoryPhones Headsets to do this. Our headsets have no movable parts to break or foam pads to pull off and a huge range of different features, such as automatic play and group listening, making them ideal for children's listening activities. BookShelf - the StoryPhones Download Store

Bookshelf, the StoryPhones online MP3 download store, provides a great range of educational audio content from many of the most well known children's authors and publishers. This includes fantastic fiction, traditional tales, nursery rhymes, songs, music and "listen-and-do" activities. We also have resources to help deliver many areas of the curriculum including Literacy, Modern Foreign Languages Maths and PSHE. The Little Listener

Once we had created StoryPhones we wanted to create a product that would make listening out loud nice and easy, so along came The Little Listener. This is a handheld, rechargeable, loud speaking MP3 player with built in microphone. Children of any age can listen out loud and record.
