In 2001, the Council of Europe designated 26th September as the European Day of Languages. Celebrations of European Languages are held throughout Europe on this day every year.
What will you be doing with your StoryPhones?
- Listening to songs and music in different languages
- Listening to simple stories in different languages
- Record children saying simple phrases and words, for example, hello and good bye, numbers, colours or family names
- If any of your children speak a European language, ask them to teach the other children simple songs and phrases in their particular language
- Create an interest table and download phrases or songs onto the Headsets or Remote Console. Place the players within the display.
